Your Weekly CDP Update

CDP

It’s been another productive week for the California Democratic Party. See below for a recap of this week’s activities.

Resistance Summer Rolls Through California
Last Friday, the Democratic National Committee’s Resistance Summer rolled through California at a rally held at USC in Los Angeles.

DNC Deputy Chair Keith Ellison and CDP Chair Eric C. Bauman were joined by DNC Vice Chair Maria Elena Durazo, Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis, and Representatives Brad Sherman and Ted Lieu. The capacity crowd was fired up about protecting our health care, standing up for immigrants, and stopping Trump’s alt-right agenda.

Here’s a great recap video of the event. And be sure to check this clip of Chair Bauman’s appearance on KNBC’s News Conference with Conan Nolan, where he discussed the Resistance Summer event.

Upcoming Events
Did you know the CDP maintains a calendar of upcoming events? From regional meetings to fundraisers to trainings, we’re happy to help our phenomenal Democratic Central Committees, Clubs, and Grassroots Democrats get the word out about the events they’re working on. Check out our events page here.
