This week I had a chance to chat with dedicated Democrats and activists in some of our northernmost counties, and hear their ideas for the future of our party. In Del Norte, I joined neighbors for the grand opening of the new Del Norte County Regional Airport (Jack McNamara Field) terminal, a critical facility and economic driver that neighbors have been fighting to secure for 20 years. In Siskiyou, we discussed how to flip the area from red to purple, and also had a lively discussion about the traffic signal count in the county. And in Trinity, I heard from Democrats, including County Committee Chair George Bates, who shared that this was the first time in recent memory a candidate for CDP Chair had visited with the Committee.
A big thank you to democrats and activists in Humboldt, Shasta, and Tehama counties as well, for taking time out of their busy days to meet with me and discuss the CDP issues that matter to them the most.
I am eager to get back on the road and continue hearing from you as I travel across our great state.
