Trump’s latest immigration crackdown:

Donald Trump directed the Social Security Administration to revive its controversial practice of sending “no match” letters to Central Valley employers

Right now, undocumented immigrants represent 60% of all farmworkers in the entire state of California — they are the lifeblood of our agricultural economy. But that’s not stopping Trump from launching a fresh round of attacks to intimidate local business and our immigrant communities.

Last week, Donald Trump directed the Social Security Administration to revive its controversial practice of sending “no match” letters to Central Valley employers — warning them if their employees’ social security numbers don’t match official records.

This scare tactic was thrown out by Obama, but now that Trump has revived it, immigrant rights activists and Central Valley businesses fear the next step will be more ICE raids and eventual deportations by Trump.
