A retired fighter pilot. A Marine. A Kentuckian. And now she’s running to replace Mitch McConnell in the halls of the Senate.
At the age of 13, Amy dreamed of becoming a fighter pilot, but women were barred from serving in combat roles in our military. So she wrote a letter to her senator asking for his help to change that law. She never heard back from Mitch McConnell.
She accomplished what she set out to do anyway — serving 20 years in the Marines where she flew 89 combat missions in Iraq and Afghanistan before retiring and moving back home to Kentucky to raise her family.
Like so many Americans, she wanted a level playing field and when she was told no, she didn’t stop working toward achieving it. That’s why we need Amy in the Senate. I’m personally asking: can you chip in $1, $5, or whatever you can to help fuel her campaign to defeat Mitch McConnell?
