Bobby Bliatout for Congress

Hello,

As the son of Hmong refugees who fled to the United States in search of freedom and a more peaceful, prosperous life, I believe deeply in the American Dream.

Growing up, I was taught that those who serve this nation should be given the highest form of respect. It’s their dedication to our country that makes America great. And I am forever grateful to the men and women who served our country and fought alongside my family against communist totalitarianism during the Vietnam War with the hope of spreading freedom and liberty.

It’s because of the brave men and women who served alongside my family many years ago that I am able to stand before you in pursuit of my American Dream: fighting for the people of the Central Valley by running to serve you in the United States House of Representatives.

So today, as we celebrate Independence Day by grilling tri-tip and burgers, watching parades, or taking in the fireworks, I urge you all to take a moment to remember the brave men and women whose sacrifices made our country great — and made it possible for me to live my version of the American Dream.

Thank you,

Bobby
