Dear Friend,<\/p>\n

Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors the\u00a0<\/span>2022 Congressional Art Competition<\/strong><\/a>, a nationwide high school art competition to recognize and encourage young artistic talent in our district. The theme this year is \u201cYour Hometown<\/strong><\/em>.\u201d All entries must connect to this year\u2019s theme to be eligible to participate.\u00a0\u00a0
\u00a0
The\u00a0<\/span>Congressional Art competition<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>is open to all high school students and home-schooled students with high school equivalents (grades 9-12) in California\u2019s 16th Congressional District. Students can submit paintings, drawings, mixed media, computer generation art, photography, or prints. Winners are recognized in Washington D.C. and their artwork is displayed for one year in our nation\u2019s capitol.\u00a0\u00a0

Students must submit their entries with a signed\u00a0<\/span>2022 Student Release form<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>to my Fresno Office by\u00a0<\/span>5:00 P.M. on Wednesday, April 27, 2022<\/strong>. Please follow the\u00a0<\/span>Congressional Art competition guidelines<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0<\/span>and review our\u00a0<\/span>office\u2019s instructions<\/strong><\/a>. Students can drop off their submissions at our Fresno office or coordinate a pick-up with your school. After submissions, a panel of independent judges will evaluate the submissions and select the winning entry.\u00a0\u00a0
