font-family: Tahoma,Helvetica, Arial,sans-serif;

This week, tragedy struck El Paso – a community that has opened up its doors so graciously to Team Beto and welcomed us in as if we’ve lived here our entire lives. The strength and courage we’ve seen from people across this city, and our binational neighbors in Juárez, have shown that this community will not be defined by division or hate – but by love and compassion.

In this issue, we are honoring those lost and the acts of heroism and resilience we’ve seen across El Paso.

#ElPasoStrong

On Saturday, we lost 22 innocent lives. We have the power to end this epidemic. Let us do better for them, for ourselves, and for the next generation:

If we turn our heartbreak and anger into action, we can get it done — but it’s going to take all of us.

Warren for President

Content warning: The following email contains references to gun violence and mass shootings that the reader may find upsetting.

Columbine. Sandy Hook. Charleston. Pulse. Las Vegas. Parkland. Pittsburgh. And now El Paso and Dayton. They’re etched into the American consciousness.

These are just a few of the countless communities across America who have been ravaged by gun violence, having endured unimaginable loss and grief.

And on average, 100 people are killed in the U.S. by a gun every day — everywhere from our homes, to our streets, to our playgrounds.

Gun violence is a public health crisis. So today, I’m announcing our new plan to protect our communities from it. And my goal as president will be to reduce the number of people who die from guns every year in the United States by 80%.

I’ll take executive action to rein in an out-of-control gun industry. We’ll break the NRA’s stranglehold on Congress by passing sweeping anti-corruption legislation and getting rid of the filibuster. I’ll sign comprehensive gun violence prevention legislation into law within my first 100 days, and we’ll revisit it every single year — keeping what works and adding new ideas based on the data — to continually reduce the number of gun deaths in America.

But we’ll only get all of this done as a grassroots movement. If you agree that we need to take action on gun violence, add your name to join this fight today:

An explanation

An explanation

In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make a contribution to our presidential campaign. Please let me explain why this ask is so important:

Here is the truth: we have gotten off to a rough start when it comes to fundraising this month. August is a notoriously difficult time for fundraising, and honestly, it’s been worse than we expected.

So many of our opponents, especially Donald Trump, are hoping we slip up this summer. If we make a mistake and cannot sustain our momentum, it jeopardizes our chance to win.

We can’t let up and give them that satisfaction, or endanger the incredible progress our grassroots team has made in this race. What we’ve done in past situations like this is to ask our supporters — that’s you, Michael — to chip in whatever you can to get us back on track.

Can you make a contribution to our campaign today? It could be the difference between overcoming our August fundraising slump and powering our campaign through this primary next year. I know I can count on you.

Did you catch Pete’s plan?

Hey there,

Pete wrote earlier to tell you about his new plan, “Securing a Healthy Future for Rural America.”

We wanted to make sure you didn’t miss it. Because right now, we need bold solutions to the problems we face, and we need solutions that won’t leave anyone out. That’s why Pete’s proposing a new approach to funding rural hospitals, guaranteeing affordable health insurance and investing in technology to increase access. Click here to read about it.

For Americans who’ve gone without access to doctors, who’ve seen their hospitals close, we are running out of time. For too long, Washington has been unable or unwilling to act.

As your president, Pete will provide the leadership we need to face our challenges head on. He’ll tackle crises with bold ideas and real solutions. This election is about more than the next four years. The future of our country — and all who live here — is on the line.

Thank you,

Pete for America

TULSI 2020

Just making sure you saw this – the post-debate polls are still coming in and we just need a handful of people who are selected to say they support Tulsi. You could be the one who swings a poll to 2% and helps get Tulsi into the September debates!

Your feedback on Tulsi’s debate performance

Aloha Team Tulsi —

Due to your efforts and Tulsi’s amazing debate performance, we blew past our first goal of 130,000 donors to meet one of two qualifications for the DNC Debate Stage in September.

First, we want to hear your thoughts on the last debate! Click here to take our survey.

Now we need three more qualifying polls of 2% or more to land Tulsi on that debate stage. To ensure our voice and message is heard, please take the time to answer if you receive a call from a pollster or are presented with an online poll. As a reminder only YouGov and SurveyMonkey online polls are qualifying.

Here’s the full list of ways you can increase your chances of being selected for a debate-qualifying poll:

< ![if !supportLists]>1.    < ![endif]>Take our debate survey now and be sure to keep answering additional surveys if prompted afterwards

< ![if !supportLists]>2.    < ![endif]>Sign up for YouGov and take a few surveys with them

< ![if !supportLists]>3.    < ![endif]>If you are called from an unknown number, remember that it could be a pollster. If you are selected to participate in a poll, make sure to specify if you’re a registered Democrat or leaning Democrat and that you plan to vote for Tulsi in the primary election

Four more years of Donald Trump isn’t an option, team

Four more years of Donald Trump isn’t an option, team

The Fresno County Democratic Central Committee has not endorsed any candidate in this race.

Team,

If we want to make lasting change in this country, we need a strong, united Democratic Party.

Our Democratic nominee will be up against a very well-funded incumbent president. But if we want to beat Donald Trump, we cannot afford to take our foot off the gas: defeating Donald Trump is only the floor, not the ceiling.

After we win in 2020, we’re still going to need Democrats at all levels of government to fight for affordable health care, voting rights, and criminal justice reform. This is why I’m asking you to split a donation between our campaign and the DNC’s Democratic Unity Fund.

The RNC has already stockpiled millions upon millions of dollars to help Donald Trump win a second term. In the last fundraising quarter alone, Trump’s campaign and the RNC raised over $100 million. That’s alarming, team.

I wish I could say that our party was able to match that number, but unfortunately, we still have work to do.

So that’s why I’m asking, can you split a donation between our grassroots campaign and the DNC’s Democratic Unity Fund today?
