Even as she’s running for president, Amy is still making progress in the Senate. Just this year, she’s sponsored a total of 69 bills and thirty-four of her bills have been signed into law by Donald Trump.

What’s the secret to Amy’s success? She’s a hard worker who seeks out creative solutions and gets things done.

If you agree that Amy has what it takes to be a great president will you donate now to this campaign?

TEAM TRUMP ATTACKS BETO

An anti-choice activist confronted Beto in Charleston. Now Trump’s campaign is spreading the video around as an attack. We need your help to respond, but first let us explain what happened.

An activist in the crowd at Beto’s event tried to ask a “gotcha” question:

“I was born September 8th, 1989. I want to know if you think on September 7th, 1989 that my life had no value.”

What happened next is typical for Beto. He gave a compassionate answer without at all equivocating on his support for a woman’s right to choose. Full stop.

Andrew Janz for Mayor

There is nothing more important to a family than the security of a job that provides a livable wage.

Job opportunities help our homelessness crisis by giving people chances to enter the workforce, they help working families struggling to get ahead, and they help stimulate the economy and bring more people into our local businesses.

That’s why it’s crucial that we make sure working families aren’t struggling. Everyone who puts in the work deserves a wage that keeps a roof over their heads and food on their tables.

That’s what I believe and will fight for — but I want to hear from you. What are your priorities for how to help working families?

Some believe we can find “middle ground” with Republicans and fossil fuel companies on the issue.

At this point, most of the candidates in the primary have shared their plans to fight climate change.

Some believe we can find “middle ground” with Republicans and fossil fuel companies on the issue. Others take steps in the right direction, but don’t go far enough.

And then there’s Bernie Sanders.

“The biggest, boldest and most ambitious plan.” — “Simply what must be done to meet the challenge” — “This is what it means to treat the climate crisis like a true emergency.”

Many have endorsed Bernie Sanders’ plan to fight climate change, but now we need you:

In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a $10 donation to my campaign. We have a huge end-of-month deadline on Saturday, and I hope you’ll let me explain why your support is so important.

You’ve probably heard that David Valadao, the Republican incumbent I narrowly defeated in 2018, has filed to run against me in 2020. He has not announced his campaign yet, but that’s not stopping him from planning major fundraisers in Washington to curry favor with GOP leaders and his old special interest allies.

Here’s the truth: Because David Valadao filed, he gets to enjoy all the fundraising benefits of being a candidate, but since he has not officially announced his campaign, he’s avoiding all the tough policy questions that candidates usually deal with from the press and at town halls and meet and greets. It’s political gamesmanship at its worst, and it’s a big reason our community rejected him.

since Valadao is likely spending all of his time fundraising, we’re concerned we may fall behind this month. I’m asking if you’ll make a contribution of $10 before our end-of-month fundraising deadline to help us keep up the pace.

I knew that running for congress would be a big challenge – like David taking on Goliath – but the future of the Valley and its families is too important a fight to sit on the sidelines. And already, voters and news organizations are taking note.

Taking on an entrenched incumbent is no easy task. But I know we’re up to the challenge – and so do major papers. The Fresno Bee said our campaign may be his “toughest opponent to date” and a San Francisco Chronicle headline acknowledged that with my entrance into the race, the 14-year incumbent “faces a tough race.” We’re already making headlines because newspapers are seeing what we know in this district – the same old playbook no longer works for our working families.
