Democratic Candidate Phil Arballo raises over $250,000 in 3rd Quarter

FRESNO – Today, Democratic Candidate Phil Arballo, running against California’s most vulnerable Republican Congressman, Devin Nunes (CA-22), announced raising over $250,000 in the third quarter. Since his launch in June, Arballo’s campaign has raised over $380,000.

Arballo’s campaign is powered by over 8,000 individual contributors, with an average donation of $33.

Commenting on his recent fundraising numbers, Arballo stated:

“I’m proud of the grassroots support our campaign against Devin Nunes continues to receive. My opponent is in the pocket of D.C. special interests, while I refuse to take a dime of corporate PAC money. It is clear that the hardworking people of the Central Valley are tired of having a Congressman who is more focused on suing his constituents and protecting his own ego, than on good paying jobs and affordable healthcare. It is time for a change.”

ARBALLO OUTPACES JANZ:

Arballo’s campaign has raised 2.5 times what the Janz campaign raised at this point in the 2018 cycle.

Recent Updates:

Last week, Democratic Candidate Phil Arballo received the endorsement of Congressional Hispanic Caucus’ Political Arm – BOLD PAC.

I wanted you to hear the good news from me directly: together, we raised $11.6 million this past quarter.

The best part? Our average online contribution was just $20 — a sign of a strong grassroots campaign that can win.

Thanks to you, we head into October with $10 million in the bank ready to make big investments to grow our organizing team on the ground and reach millions of more voters across the country.

The majority of the funds we raise come from grassroots supporters like you, pitching in what you can because you believe in this campaign. When I say this campaign wouldn’t be possible without you, I mean it.

Together we’re building this campaign from the ground up. I’m so grateful to be in this fight alongside you.

For The People,

— Kamala Harris

Formidable fundraising numbers, dominant debate performance, and a lock on endorsements point to front-runner status for Bliatout.

FRESNO, CA — The Bobby Bliatout for Congress campaign announced a third quarter (Sept. 30) fundraising mark of more than $200,000. His strong fundraising quarter, more than $70,000 the past month alone, combined with his virtual sweep of endorsements among Fresno- and Tulare County-elected Democrats, have put Bliatout in a strong position to win next year’s Democratic primary and challenge Devin Nunes.

“The more chaos and untruth coming from the White House and from Devin Nunes, the more motivated Bobby gets. His commitment to ensuring the Valley has intelligent and rational leadership is passionate and focused,” said Bliatout campaign manager Tom Dallas.

The ad highlights Bernie’s long history of leading movements to lift up working people and transform our economy

Shortly after reporting a record-setting number of individual donations for any presidential campaign at this point in the race, we made another important announcement:

We are ON THE AIR in Iowa.

This is our first television ad of the campaign, and we wanted you to see it immediately. We also need to ask you to do something very important in helping to make sure others see it as well.

The ad highlights Bernie’s long history of leading movements to lift up working people and transform our economy, and it is fitting that it was funded exclusively from grassroots donations made by working people who stand with him in that effort.

We hope you enjoy it. It’s your ad. So please watch and share the spot today.

All my best,

Beto for America

We had a great day yesterday and a great quarter, and soon we’ll post some of the best fundraising numbers we’ve had since the start of the campaign. I can’t tell you how good it feels to have this kind of support going into the final stretch of 2019.

We have the resources to continue to organize, to canvass, to phone bank, to reach those who will decide the outcomes of the caucuses in Iowa and Nevada, the primaries in New Hampshire and South Carolina, and the states that make up Super Tuesday.

We also have the means to visit those places that aren’t always included in the national conversation during our presidential primaries — places like Erie, Pennsylvania; Forest, Mississippi; or the Meskwaki Settlement in Iowa.

Later this week we’ll be in Nevada, Utah, Arizona and California, and your donations will literally help us to be there and bring more people into the campaign.

Read about our Q4 strategy below, which includes raising nearly $3 million in the month of October. Help us get a head start on this month’s goal by chipping in here.

It’s been 10 days since Cory 2020 opened up to our supporters, friends, and the world about the high stakes of the closing days of September for our campaign: if we didn’t change our fundraising trajectory by the end of the month by raising an additional $1.7 million, we wouldn’t be able to grow our operation in time for Cory to compete for the nomination with the four best-resourced candidates in the field. Early voting begins in January, and you can’t build the organization you need to compete overnight. We knew it was now or never.

It was a true make-or-break moment for our campaign. So we decided to do something no major campaign has done before: radical transparency — giving a real, unvarnished look at the stark reality of where things stood — because we believed it was the best way to give our wonderful supporters across the country and everyone who knows that Cory brings a unique, important voice to this campaign a chance to rally behind him while there was still time to help determine what the final field of Democratic candidates will look like.

We’ve been overwhelmed and humbled by the response since September 21st. We announced yesterday morning that we’d eclipsed our $1.7 million goal in just nine days, and today, I’m proud to report that our 10 day push raised a total of $2,159,165.34 from more than 46,000 donations.
