Friend—

Yesterday, I touched down in San Juan to stand with hundreds of thousands of protesters calling on Puerto Rico Governor Ricardo Rosselló to resign.

Thousands of people have been protesting nonstop for a week now. And the only responses they’ve gotten are dismissive platitudes from the Governor ignoring their cries for an end to corruption.

These protests are about so much more than offensive language in leaked chats. They’re about more than the Governor and his associates’ elitist attitudes. They’re about rampant corruption within Puerto Rico’s government that pretends to serve the interests of its people but instead exploits them, over and over again for profits and power. It is this blatant corruption that undermines people’s faith in our democracy, our country and our values.

Now that our team knows which night I’ll take the stage for the July debate, it’s time to get to work. Each debate is a new opportunity for our people-powered campaign to reach millions more undecided voters across the country — and to contrast our message and platform with those of our opponents.

In the coming days, my team and I are set to dig in deep on debate preparation so we’re ready for anything that comes our way. But before we start, I need your help:

Will you take a moment to share the top 3 issues you want to hear about during the upcoming July debate? Fill out this quick survey and add your thoughts »

You are the voice of our movement. That’s why I reach out every so often to ask for your input and thoughts.

As the news cycle and political climate rapidly change with each passing day, I rely on hearing directly from you and supporters like you across the country to speak truth about the issues that matter most.

The upcoming July debate is an opportunity to amplify real solutions for every American — no matter who you are or where you live. Your input matters a great deal.

Hi — just wanted to re-up this ask. I hope you’ll give me a brief second to explain why it’s so important. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Beto for America

Hi — just wanted to re-up this ask. I hope you’ll give me a brief second to explain why it’s so important. Earlier this week we learned that a handful of candidates raised more money than us last quarter. We asked for your help closing the gap so that we don’t get outspent by such a large degree.

We’re not going to send you 10 emails a day or burn down the campaign to scrape that last dollar. That’s not how we roll — not Beto, and not our team. Still, I want to make sure you know the stakes. We have the resources we need to fight in the long run, but if we don’t do better this quarter, we’re going to have to make some uncomfortable adjustments.

The good news is our campaign has more individual donors than most of the two-dozen candidates in the field. We have a lot of room to grow. We just need some of you to step up and donate again, and others to donate for the first time.

Can you be one of the key supporters today who’ll step up and contribute? Every donation narrows that fundraising gap so we can compete for every vote.

Fresno Democratic,

In the first debate, Amy showed she’s not afraid to throw a few punches. She took the fight straight to President Trump.

On the president’s failure to lower prescription drug costs, Amy fired back:

That wasn’t her only winning quote from the night.

A quick note on our fundraising:

A quick note on our fundraising:

The Fresno County Democratic Central Committee has not endorsed any candidate in this race.

We filed our FEC report this week.

Since you’re one of Bernie’s most committed supporters, we wanted to give you an important update regarding our fundraising.

Earlier this week, all presidential campaigns filed their reports with the FEC, which means everyone’s fundraising numbers are now public.

So far this campaign has received far more individual donations than anyone else. By a long shot. We are at more than 2 million right now, which is unprecedented at this point in the race.

But we’re facing one challenge that most other campaigns are not.

Our average donation is $19, which is way less than the $27 average we had in 2016. So even though we have WAY more donations, we still raised less money than a few of our opponents.

So we need a lot more donations in order to stay on track. That is the only way we’ll keep pace with our opponents who hold private fundraisers asking rich people for money.

How about it, Nathaniel? Contribute $2.70 today to stand with Bernie and help close the gap with the big-money donors who want to defeat us.
