Xiong earns endorsement of Fresno County Democrats

From the Blong Xiong for Supervisor campaign:

Dear Friends,

I’m excited to announce that I’ve received the Fresno County Democratic Party’s endorsement. Momentum is definitely building in our campaign.

I’m proud of my democratic record of fighting for working families. On the City Council I’ve fought for our communities, for better jobs and economic development, and for improving our local schools. I’m proud of my record and will bring the same passion and commitment to the Board of Supervisors.

Come out on Saturday and help us keep the momentum going and join us as we walk door to door.

Sincerely,
Blong

Renteria campaign seeking support against Paul Ryan’s campaign to destroy Medicare

From the Amanda Renteria for Congress campaign:

Central Valley families can’t afford Paul Ryan.

Last year, Ryan tried to pass a budget that ended the Medicare guarantee for seniors, cut critical education funding for students, and raised taxes on hard-working California families.

I’m joining up with leaders across the country to finally take a stand against Paul Ryan’s reckless plans. Together, we’re hoping to reach one million voices telling Ryan his plan is going nowhere.

Will you sign your name and help us reach ONE MILLION STRONG against Paul Ryan’s budget?

If we say nothing, Ryan could get his way and seniors could see Medicare turned into a voucher.

That’s why I need your help to send a powerful message to Ryan and his Tea Party Congress: we won’t stand for this.

Please sign on: http://action.amandarenteria.com/Stop-Paul-Ryan

Thanks for taking a stand,

Amanda
