Voter registration deadline:
The last day to register to vote in the November 2, 2010, election is October 18, 2010.
Absentee Ballots / Vote-by-Mail:
To vote by mail or as an absentee, you have to request a mail-in ballot from Fresno County. Here’s how:
- Download the ‘Application for a Vote-by-Mail Ballot’ by clicking here.(You probably already have the Adobe Reader program needed to view the application on your computer.
If you do not, Adobe Reader can be added to your PC for free by clicking here.)
- Fill out the printed Application.
- Mail your completed Application to:

Your Mail-in Ballot or Absentee Ballot will arrive at your mailing address within days.
If you do not receive it within seven days of mailing your application, call the Fresno County Registrar of Voters office at (559) 488-3246. You must make your request for a mail-in ballot before Oct. 26 if you’re requesting it by mail, and by Nov. 2 if you’re requesting that ballot in person
After you receive your Mail-in Ballot, mark your choices right away. (And don’t forget to vote for candidates endorsed by the Fresno County Democratic Central Committee!)
The Ballot will include full instructions for mailing it back to Fresno County… including the mailing deadline.
Election Day is November 2, 2010
